Crufts  and  competing

The biggest date in the canine calendar has to be Crufts. As part of The Kennel Club, we have our own dedicated ring at Crufts exclusively for our members to qualify to compete in. All of our members get a ticket to go to Crufts included in their membership! Even if you haven't qualified, you can still come along and enjoy everything that Crufts has to offer.

To qualify to compete at Crufts, we offer the following competitions for our members to qualify for:
  • Agility
  • Crossbreed
  • Flyball
  • Grooming
  • Heelwork to music
  • Obedience
  • Showing

As part of your Young Kennel Club membership, we offer our members exclusive access to book onto our training. These training sessions are not designed to replace your weekly local training, but instead offer members access to some of the top trainers in the UK.

As well as our advanced courses, we also offer training courses for complete beginners - these often include lots of different activities, so you can discover which sports you and your dog enjoy the most.

Need help finding a local dog training club?

Our Find a Dog Club service offers you a list of Kennel Club registered and Listed Status clubs. We also offer Young Kennel Club training events throughout the year.

Camps and social

Not only do we offer training days up and down the country, we also hold a number of camps that members can attend. These camps are focused on training the basics and providing social games for members to interact and make friends. We have lots of ex-Young Kennel Club members that have become friends for life all by meeting at our camps.

All this for just £15 per year.
